SUMMER CAMP FOSTER SPORTS AND MUSIC AMONG YOUNG VS MOBILE PHONE & WHATSAPP
Students in the province of Sevilla have enriched their daily habits with traditional activities and sessions promoting creativity during summer camp Sunset Campus sponsored by Cajasol Foundation, reports the organization in a statement.
“Discover how fun it can be chatting with friends, how to make better pictures, play songs or play sports have been some of the proposals that have been made this summer to teens who have participated in activities which have as a challenge to teach participants no entertainment beyond the WhatsApp application and the mobile phone. ”
And the grand finale of the camp has been a day of living made in a farmhouse Alcor in which participants Carmona, Sanlúcar la Mayor and Mairena del Alcor have pooled everything learned in the camps in which they have participated.
Surrounded by nature and animals, young people participated in a day that featured falconry shows, walks on the farm for livestock and diplomas to reward the best performances.
The balance of these camps that have been supported by the municipalities has been helping participants adolescents who were between 13 and 17 years, have fun in a very different way than they’re used to today. Imagination and the importance of listening to others through coexistence have been two very important aspects in the Sunset Campus. So, the boys have learned to value communication and interpersonal relations, fostered the ties and friendship with other peers through traditional games and direct contact between students camp.
