TREKING IN NEPAL & OPTIONAL CLIMBING MOUNTAIN THORUNG PEAK ( 6.201 MTS )
He walked the highlands near Annapurna, one of the most famous Himalayan trek is discovered. The route includes highlands as the Tilicho Lake is the highest lake in the world. This trek has some great changes of landscapes, cultures (Manangíes in the valley of Marshyangdi and Thakalíes in the valley of Kali Gandaki) and climates. The trek ascends through Marshyangdi valley’s most famous and goal of many trekers hill, the Thorong La (5,416 m) and returns south on Muktinath, an important center of Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage. Back to Pokhara by plane from Jomsom. Optional is the ascent of Peak Thorung from Thorong La on foot or on skis.
10 Oct, BILBAO- KATHMANDU
Departure early from Bilbao Airport.
11 Oct. Arrival in KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport early in the morning. Transfer to Hotel. We left our bags and visit the main monuments of Kathmandu. Hotel accommodation.
12 AND 13 OCT. KATHMANDU – Pokhara – CHAME – PISANG (3,185 m)
Option A: From Kathmandu transfer by road to Pokhara Accommodation. The next day flight to Hungde, airport Manang district. Short walk to Pisang.
Option B: If it is not possible to catch this flight between Kathmandu mountains 4×4 we go to Chame. Accommodation and the next day to Pisang. From here begins Manang valley. This place is called Shorgaduar (which means door to paradise). We climb through pine trees with a breathtaking view of Annapurna. We finally reached Pisang (3,185) Full Board.
14 OCT. PISANG – MANANG (3,440 m) approx. 5 hours trekking
Throughout the day we will have magnificent views of the Annapurnas. Beautiful landscapes lead us to the people of Nawal and Braga. Braga monastery has a history of 600 years old. The monastery is divided into 4 parts, one of which is prohibited to women. After 40 minutes walk from Braga got to Manang. Impressive by the beautiful views offered: Annapurna II, IV and III, Gangapurna, the glacier, its lake and the formidable north face of Tilicho. Full board.
15 OCT. MANANG
Acclimatization and rest day. We climb to over 4000 meters near Glacier Gangapurna to enjoy the valley. Full board.
16 OCT MANANG – KHANSAR (3.734 m) approx. 5 hours trekking
The road leads to tall grass, we see Yaks, pastors and life above 4000 meters. You reach Khansar. Full board.
17 OCT Khansar – TILICHO LAKE (5000 MTS) – TILICHO Phedi (4,850 m) hours of trekking
The road leads through rocky areas, there is no house villages and shelters. From the way desfrutamos view of the Annapurnas, Gangapurna, Rock Noel, Thorang Peak, Chulu East and West, Yakawa Kang and many more. Tilicho climb to Lake (5,000 meters) snow stepping on a journey through the foothills of the north face of Tilicho. Full board.
18 OCT TLICHO PEDI – Khansar – Churi LATTER (4,000 m) 7 hours
Return and from Khansar descend to Manang Valley and changing slowly ascend to Churi Alter. We are again in the Tour of the Annapurnas. We are under chulus and getting closer to our goal. Full board.
19 OCT CHURILATTER – THORANGPHEDI (4,450 m) approx. 5 hours trek
We noted acclimatization. The route takes us to the camp to step foot Thorong La. Since the whole way desfrutamos view of the Annapurnas, Gangapurna, Rock Noel, Thorang Peak, Chulu East and West, Yakawa Kang and many more. Full board
20 OCT Thorung Phedi – Thorong PEAK
BASE CAMP. ( 5.400 MTS )
From Thorung Phedi morning we left arrival at Thorung Peak Base Camp, it is a
4 hours trekking must rest and prepare for ascension. Full board and overnight in tent.
21 OCT climbing Thorong PEAK (6.201 MTS) – MUKTINATH
We woke up early and climb the Thorong Peak. On foot or on skis. Down from the summit to Muktinath. (3,760 meters). It is the name of a Hindu god. Muktinath, sacred place. Here every year thousands of devotees from Nepal, India and Tibet come to visit this place for salvation and purification in which they believe. It is said that many kings of Asia visited this place to meditate. Full board.
22 Oct MUKTINATH-JOMSOM
We descend for an hour and half hour to Kagbeni located at 2,907 m, and enter the Kingdom of Mustang. Following the bed of the glacial valley we reach Jomsom. Full board.
23 Oct RESERVE and ADJUSTMENT DAY
If you should need a day of adjustment for bad weather or other circumstances. Full board.
24 OCT. JOMSOM – POKHARA – by plane
Después del desayuno, traslado al aeropuerto de Jomsom para coger el vuelo destino a Pokhara. Es un vuelo de 25 minutos. Traslado al hotel y día libre para hacer visitas. La pagoda de la Paz, El museo del Himalayismo, Campamento tibetano, etc. o simplemente para ir de compras y descansar junto a la piscina. Noche en Hotel.
25 OCT POKHARA – KATMANDÚ (7 hours by bus)
7 hours by bus through the Prithvi highway. The tour shows spectacular views of the Himalayas, green mountain ranges and passes along the edge of the Trisuli and Marshyangdi rivers. Arrival in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner with the group.
26 Oct. KATMANDÚ
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to the medieval town of Bhaktapur with its streets anchored in the past, artisans, monuments, pagodas. Departure from Nepal afternoon.

The accommodation in hostels are called Lodges or teahouse during trekking. They are simple wooden lodges with double room. Shared bathrooms and showers. Most have a common dining room. In tents picnics and Lake Tilicho Base. sleeping bag for hostels and camps needed
In the Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara hot weather. During the bottom of the trekking it is like our spring and height down to -3 overnight. Snow is normal step from 5000 mts. Rain is the most successful umbrella and rain cover. The porters carry us all the material so with a backpack of 25 liters is enough.
